This daytrip takes you to the Churro of Amanta, also called the Machu Picchu of Ecuador. This guided daytrip takes you on a 3 hour hike to an old fortress that was built in pre-Hispanic times and used by the Inca’s to protect and overlook their lands. At an altitude of 3000 m you can visit this archeological site and along the way your guide will point out medicinal plants, bird life, and other points of interest.
