Tilinte Lake hike

Activities

The Tilinte Lake hike takes you to a more secluded and isolated spot where you will not meet any tourists. Following little known pre-Columbian trails through the mountains you will enjoy increasingly good views with the Quilotoa Crater rim at the far distance. You’ll pass through the 98% indigenous village of Salado where you can meet the local Quechua people, they would be happy to show you Tilinte lake. We can also pre-arrange a horse-riding tour from Salado for you.
